A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Nothing But This Blog Entry

Unfortunately, I haven’t had any time today to work on my DeathBringers Scene Outline. All the time I have had today is setting up my new laptop. I didn’t have too much trouble setting up the laptop itself. That usually doesn’t take me that long to do. It was transferring my Folders, Files, and Programs that took me so long to do.

It's all because of The OneDrive Cloud. I hate The Cloud, but it’s what all laptops are a part of now. They say that it’s safe to put your files in The Cloud, but I still don’t trust it, and I never will. I have no choice but to use it whether I want to use it or not. It was the only way I could get all my Folders, Files, and some of my Programs.

I still had some of my Folders, Files, and Programs in The OneDrive Cloud, but they ended in 2023. I didn’t have any Folders, Files, and Programs I added to my old laptop after that. That included all my blog entries from both my blogs, my Water Wars, The Final Ritual, and now my DeathBringers Scriptwriting projects—also, some of my short stories.

I thought that I would have to start all of my scriptwriting projects over again from scratch. I wouldn’t like it, but I could live without my missing blog entries and my short stories. I couldn’t if I had to start these scriptwriting projects all over again, especially now that I’m so close to getting to the scripts part of them.

Luckily, I had my old laptop and a Flash Drive with my past two years' worth of Folders, Files, and Programs on them. At least, I thought that I did. I almost messed up with my Flash Drive. I don’t know what I did wrong. I saved everything from my old laptop to my Flash Drive, but when I tried to transfer it to my new laptop, it was no longer there.

Now, my new laptop Folders, Files, and Programs up until 2023 were saved to this Flash Drive. Luckily, I still had my old laptop to place these Folders, Files, and Programs back onto this Flash Drive. That’s when I started trying to find another way to get my Folders, Files, and Programs from my old laptop to my new laptop.

That’s when I found out the only way I could transfer all of my Folders, Files, and Programs from my old laptop to my new laptop was to go through The Cloud. I finally got it all straightened out, but it took me almost the entire day to accomplish it. I wasn’t even sure I would get this blog entry written today. That’s how bad it has been today.

It's not just the Folders, Files, and Programs that I had trouble transferring from my old laptop to my new one today. I also had some problems with my Norton 360 Program and my Grammarly Program. I still had these two Programs, and I could use them, but I didn’t have their icons on my new laptop. I had to re-install them. Now I also have them.

It looks like I’m ready to return to working on the Part One Scene Outline for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project tomorrow. At least, it appears that I am. I won’t know this for sure until I go into these files tomorrow, but it looks like I won’t have any problems with them. After all, I already checked out this Scene Outline.

It's where I left off with it yesterday. I’m sure the other files are also good, but I don't know about my Water Wars scriptwriting project until I return to work this Friday evening at eleven PM. I could also check on this Scene Outline, and I might do this. Then again, I might not. I haven’t decided if I will do that yet.
