Attacking the Deep State,
Firing Millions of people
Dismantling programs
Social Safety gone
The end will not be good
The end will not be good
For most of the public
But some will do quite well
The rich will get richer
the way of the world

Criteria

The Pirouette is a ten-line poem split into two halves. Each line has six syllables. Lines five and six are the same, but the second half takes a different turn, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
