Twenty-Four and Another Eight
Twenty-Four
and Another Eight

I only had six hours to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project at work yesterday, but during those six hours, I managed to write twenty-four paragraphs for this Scene Outline. That equals four paragraphs every hour. It’s a little bit better than that because it was more like five and a half hours yesterday evening.

It takes me about ten to fifteen minutes at the beginning of my shift to set things up before I can start my writing. At the end of my shift, it also takes me about ten to fifteen minutes to put everything away before I leave my shift that day. Combined, it takes me about a half hour before and after I can start any writing.

That’s why I worked about five and a half hours yesterday evening. It’s also why I wrote a little over a paragraph for every hour. I don’t know how I did it. After all, it started as though I would be lucky if I averaged two or three paragraphs every hour. Luckily, I was wrong about that. Those two paragraphs turned out to be three.

That was only the first hour of my shift yesterday evening at work. Then, I started averaging about four paragraphs every hour. Sometime during that timeframe, I did at least one five paragraphs every hour to average my paragraphs into four paragraphs every hour. I don’t know when I wrote this five, but it was after the first hour of my shift.

Today, unfortunately, I didn’t do too well on my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. I only got another eight paragraphs written on the Part One Scene Outline. That’s the same number of paragraphs I wrote late Thursday for this project. Of course, I wanted to write many more paragraphs today, but I didn’t get the chance to do it.

Why didn’t I get more written today on this project? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written than I thought I would? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. We didn’t have a lot to do today, but what we did need to do took us most of the day to accomplish it.

I only had about three hours to work on this Scene Outline today. That still averages about three paragraphs every hour. That’s not too bad when it comes to my writing. The number of hours wasn’t the only reason I didn’t get more writing done today. It was also the weather. Not the weather today, but the weather it will be tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I should have the whole day to work on this Scene Outline. After all, the weather tomorrow is supposed to be extremely bad. My brother and I weren’t the only ones who prepared ahead of time to stay at home tomorrow. I don’t know how many paragraphs I will be writing tomorrow, but I hope it’s more like yesterday evening than today.
