When the proposal is made, How to Be Saved, then the question should also be asked, "Why do I need to be saved?"
"What led to the need for Salvation?"
Truth doesn't beg to be accepted. Truth simply states, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6, KJV)
"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men." (John 1:1-4, KJV)
God created the first man and woman. "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:27, KJV)
The Lord gave the first rule to the man before the woman was created. "16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." (Genesis 2:16-18, KJV)
Eve, the woman, stated the rule wrongly, "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." (Genesis 3:3, KJV)
Eve was the first to eat of the forbidden fruit, but when Adam ate of the fruit, Sin broke Creation, and Sin was recorded as the legislative infraction against all of Humanity. "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." (Genesis 3:6, KJV)
This first Sin caused Adam, and all of his descendants to exist in mortal danger from The Wrath of God. They/We were/are in need of Salvation. We remain in danger of everlasting Wrath, until the Sin-Debt/Sin-Question has been answered in The Person of The Only One, Who pay that Debt. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15, KJV)
