If I could determine January’s thoughts for the year so far,I would use a balance scale. I was a science teacher after all.
But as of Wednesday, I would say the positives were:
It was a new year
We had a light dusting job snow that was lovely
3. My brother’s first grandchild, a beautiful girl, was born and doing well. Thank you very much.
My friends in the Houston area were doing very well.
And my football team, the Texans were moving along to qualifying for the Super Bowl.

Negatiaves:
The new year was moving along too fast.
The snow was taking forever to melt. I don’t always do to well when there is ice and snow on the ground.
My Texans finally lost a game that eliminated them from the Super Bowl contention.
Some crazy man ran over many people in New Orleans. His reasons were unbelievable.
And yesterday, was the unacceptable plane and helicopter crash-accident. Many people died.
Even though there are an equal number of reasons, the negatives outweighed the positive. This month will not get a shoutout from me. But this is only 1/12th of a year so maybe some other month might take over the positive lead. I hope violence or accidents do not dominate the rest of the year. My family seem to be taking cafe of themselves. The weather is not predicable but we have options and safe rooms if it gets dangerous.

Well if there is none, I would like to suggest a happy Blog Day for prompts that could make us laugh or smile, or be one that will warm your hearts such as what nice thing a stranger did or said to us. Just a thought.
Take care. Cover your sneezes. Enjoy a beautiful day.!
