Forty-Five Plus
Forty-Five Plus

I wrote fifty-five paragraphs for the Episode Two Story Outline and the Episode Three Story Outline yesterday evening and overnight this morning. That’s almost four paragraphs every hour or fifteen minutes for each paragraph. After all, yesterday evening and overnight this morning is a twelve-hour shift.

I could have written a few more paragraphs yesterday evening and overnight this morning, but it would have only been two or three paragraphs at the most. That would have made my total four paragraphs every hour instead of almost four paragraphs every hour. However, I decided not to write those few extra paragraphs.

Why didn’t I write those extra paragraphs? I had about a half hour to spare until the end of my shift. I should have gotten two or three paragraphs written in that amount of time. The reason why I didn’t is because it wasn’t five. Suppose I had time to write five more paragraphs that would have equaled fifty instead of forty-five.

There are nine paragraphs for each Act of these Story Outlines. I wouldn’t like to break that nine paragraph if I can help. I prefer to write all nine paragraphs; if I can’t do that, I usually don’t even try. I have done that before but decided I didn’t need it this time. It’s different when it comes to Scene Outlines and scripts.

There are about twenty-seven to thirty-five scene paragraphs for every Act. There should be only twenty-seven for the Episode Acts. That includes twenty-five scenes and two Establishing Shots. The two-part Movie Introduction may be a little bit higher than that, especially the Teaser Act of Part One of this Movie Introduction.

The Scene Outlines and scripts differ from the Story Outlines because I will write as many paragraphs as possible each time I work on this Water Wars scriptwriting project. Yesterday, I only wrote eighteen paragraphs in eight hours. Today, I wrote forty-five in twelve hours. Hopefully, I will do the latter when I start writing these Outlines and scripts.

Tonight is only a six-hour shift. If I write another four paragraphs tonight as I did yesterday evening and overnight this morning, I will write another twenty-four paragraphs. If I write only three paragraphs every hour, that will equal eighteen paragraphs. Out of the two, I hope it will be the latter. After all, eighteen equals two Acts.

I only have three more Acts to finish writing the Episode Three Story Outline, which equals twenty-seven paragraphs. I could finish that tonight, but it will probably be eighteen or twenty-four. Of course, I want to get the twenty-seven to finish writing Episode Three. I don’t think I will do that tonight.
