Blog Prompt: Am I able to push away negative thoughts and feelings, instead opting to focus on the positive? (Philippians 4:8)

Let's just say I try. I don't always succeed. This is an area I need to work on.

Prayer prompt: Pray for teachers who lead our children, that they may lead them wisely.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please, bless the teachers this year with Godly wisdom. Help them to lead our children wisely and in the way that is right in your eyes.

Describe a January snow storm.

We are about to be having one. It is supposed to start snowing here tomorrow.

Is it easy to tell people something, about anything, that they do not want to hear? And which kinds of things do you think people wouldn't want to hear even if what is said may be the truth or to their benefit?

Just listen to our mainstream news channels these days. That should tell you a lot. I do agree with the statement though, and it seems like we are losing our freedom of speech a little at a time as social media and other things are being censored more and more.
