Rainbow Bridge

From January 3rd about bridges

There are so many bridges one could talk about. Old, new, high, long, historical and famous. But there is one bridge that is in my heart. I have not used it but some friends of mine hasve used it.
I am thinking of he Rainbow Bridge that my dear fur baby friends have crossed after they have passed away. Mikie, my cat had seizures. Diamond, a dog, had a inoperable tumor behind his eye. Stubby, my dearest car, had an internal problem and had a stroke that gave him no hope. And then there are a few more that melted my heart.
It is hard to loose someone you rescued from the street or a high kill shelter. But the one thing I said was that as they went to sleep, to look for a light. Walk towards it and you will see a beautiful bridge. Cross it . You will see someone to greet you and show you around. It will be okay. This was the famous Rainbow Bridge that all animals can cross and be spiritually alive and without pain. And as I have read further, they can meet friends that they knew on the ‘other ‘ side. I told them that they would feel no pain. They could run and play. And if I could, I would visit them one day. I hope this is true and I will try to keep my promise.
Whether this is a myth or something seen in the subconscious, I hope that it is true. All animals should go to heaven. I hope they do.
