A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Back to Paragraphs How long has it been since I started writing my sentences for my Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines for my Science Fiction Family Drama, The Final Rituals, and my Anthology Science Fiction Horror Drama, DeathBringers? I believe it has been three weeks, but I hope it has only been about two weeks. I can’t remember when I started writing them, but it has been long. However long it has been, I have finished writing them. It’s time to start writing my paragraph Story Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I will start writing them when I return to work this evening and begin with Part One of my Movie Introduction. If I remember correctly, there are eight paragraphs for each Act of these Story Outlines. That’s forty-eight paragraphs for each Part or Episode of this project. I don’t know how long it will take to write two hundred and eighty-eight paragraphs, but I hope it’s not too long. It depends on how many paragraphs I can write for each work shift. Tonight, I have an eight-hour shift; tomorrow night, I have a twelve-hour shift; and Sunday, I have only six hours. Hopefully, I can do three or four paragraphs every hour I work. If I can write three or four paragraphs every hour at work, I will finish these Story Outlines in three or four weeks. Of course, I would like to write more than three or four paragraphs each hour, but I may be lucky if I get three or four. I hope it’s not only two every hour, but it could be. I don’t think it will be that bad, though. Writing three or four paragraphs each hour will equal twenty-four to thirty-two paragraphs tonight and overnight tomorrow morning, thirty-six to forty-eight for tomorrow evening and overnight Sunday morning, and about eighteen to twenty-four on Sunday evening. That’s seventy-eight to one hundred and four every week. That also equals about two and three-fourths to three and three-fourths weeks before I finish writing these paragraphs for my Story Outlines or about a month from now. I should be able to write these Story Outlines within a month. The sooner I get them done, the better. After all, after these Outlines comes the Scene Outlines. Unfortunately, the Scene Outlines will take me quite a bit longer to write because there are one hundred fifty scenes and at least twelve Establishing Shots for every Part or Episode. Hopefully, it won’t take me that long to write them, but it probably will. These Story Outlines are almost double what a single Part or Episode is. So, I should write about one hundred and sixty-two to one hundred and seventy paragraphs in about half that time. I should do that, but I won’t count on that happening until it does. |
