Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
I didn't write anything yesterday. I took a much-needed rest break. I had a bad headache and slept most of the day. Today is a new day though, right? I am in the process of getting my Tupperware business relaunched. I am thinking about keeping a blog on here about it so I can share my struggles and triumphs and also have a place to review what I am doing to determine if I need to make changes or not. It would be a good way to reflect. Plus, it would be a way that others can see and understand the struggles of Multilevel Marketing/Direct sales business. I don't think it is impossible. It can be difficult and take a lot of work. It's not for everyone. But for some people it's just what they need. It is an interesting and insightful experience. I seem to like to share about the rest of my life on here. Why not share about that too? Maybe some of you have experience or insights that will help me out or maybe my experiences can enlighten and encourage you. Who knows? Today, I am just working on the computer. I may do some housework later. There is so much that I want to accomplish. I have many plans and ideas. I will probably write about some here on WDC, while others will be done by hand. I hope to keep some records of a lot of things so that I can hopefully improve from them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Take UP Your Cross Blog Prompt: What do you think of when you hear about the Bible and new beginnings? Prayer prompt: Pray for those who may be afflicted with addictions. Dear God, I pray for those who are afflicted with addictions. I pray that you will help them to realize that they have one and what it is doing to their life. Please, give them the strength and willpower to put an end to that negative addiction and cycle that goes with it. Send you healing. In Jesus' name, Amen -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Write a story or poem about a New Year party with an unexpected guest. Hmmm! This could be a pleasant or not so pleasant thing. LOL There are many possibilities that have crossed my mind right now. Aliens, ghosts, angels, Jesus, other religious figures, Father time, mother nature, and the list goes on and on with so many options... Let's see here! What should I decide on? The Unexpected Guest I went to a church fellowship with my family one day. All the festivities were beginning to get under way. Church members were welcoming each other with lots of cheer. Everyone was excited getting ready to welcome the new year. Tables were adorned with many wonderful treats and sweets. There were homemade dishes and all good things to eat. Board games were being played by all the youth, And resolutions being shared at a decorated booth. Dancing and festive music was filling the air, While some people were grabbing themselves a chair. In walked a man and everything came to a sudden stop. He wasn't well dressed, and you could hear a pen drop. The man smelled of Alcohol with holes in his clothes. His shoes were ragged and out hung his toes. The pastor approached him to see what he wanted here. The man wanted warmth and to witness all the cheer. He hadn't eaten in many days and was hoping to eat his fill The pastor was hesitant but asked the crowd what they would will A young child ran up to the man and gave him a tug. With a tear in his eye, the man gave the child a hug. The child led the man to a table and helped him fill a plate with food. Some of the adults watched and thought it to be very rude. A woman spoke up and voiced her objection to this intrusion. While the pastor seemed humbled by the child's inclusion. The pastor demanded their guest be given all he had need of. Christ had died for him, and they needed to show him that love. The heart of the people did change that day, And their new year began in a whole different way. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prompt: Worldview A worldview is a person's or society's fundamental way of thinking about the world, including their knowledge, culture, and point of view. Do you ever challenge your own worldview or any other views? And have you ever replaced them? I always try to think outside the box because nothing is ever what it may seem on the surface. There is always some kind of back story or something behind it. I am not afraid to think for myself. I tend to challenge the truth because if it is truly true, truth doesn't change. I may adjust my views as needed based upon my findings and/or observations. |
