A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
About Two Hundred and Thirty I could have gotten a few more sentences for my Science Fiction Horror Drama DeathBringers Movie Introduction for my DeathBringers television series. However, I had plans to update my story outline before I could start writing my sentences. I also had some problems with my Act Breakdown, but it wasn’t as bad as my Story Outline. The problem with my Act Breakdown was the sentences I wanted to write for the four main characters in this Movie Introduction. I knew what I wanted to write for each character, but I didn’t know how to write it to fit that character. What do I mean by what I just wrote? Like my Water War television series and The Final Ritual Feature Film, each main character has their scenes. These scenes focus on them and their storylines. That isn’t my problem, except when Grammarly Pro doesn’t let me do it. My problem is the second word after the main character’s name. I don’t like using the same word unless there are two other words between them. I have already compromised myself a lot with my writing. I’m not ready to do that with these second words yet. I probably will end up compromising this part of my writing, too. Overall, I wrote about two hundred and thirty sentences at work yesterday evening and overnight today. It should have been better, though. If not for updating my Story Outline, it would have been ten to fifteen more sentences, maybe even another twenty to twenty-five. It took me almost five hours to finish writing the Scene Outline for my Science Fiction Family Drama, The Final Ritual. That’s because I didn’t get as many written Friday, even overnight Saturday morning. I still had about one hundred and ten sentences to write before I finished writing that Scene Outline. That means I had about seven hours to start writing the Movie Introduction for my DeathBringer television series. I didn’t know how many sentences I would get for this Movie Introduction, but I hoped I would finish the Act Breakdown and the Story Outline. Unfortunately, I only finished the first half of my Story Outline within those seven hours. I might have gotten the other half if I hadn’t needed to update my Story Outline before I could start writing these sentences. Part of that updating included adding the scene numbers associated with each of the four main characters. That wasn’t the only part that needed updating. I have changed my mind. I’m writing my Act Breakdowns and Outlines into two parts. Part One is titled “Creating a DeathBringer,” and Part Two is titled “Five Billion DeathBringers.” Only these Act Breakdowns and Outlines are different. I will still be writing my script as a Feature Film because that’s what I want it to be, but I also want to show what it would be like as a two-part episodic Movie Introduction. That’s where these Act Breakdowns and Outlines come in. They will show what it would look like as a two-part Movie Introduction. After all, it could still be that. |
