Oh So Delicious

A tangled web on my fork forms
As sauce drips off in raindrop blobs
A sprinkle of cheese so light and airy
As my lips begin to quiver
in sweet anti----cipation
An Italian dish begs me eat it
Shirt's a mess, the laundry'll clean it
Too late for manners, to late to share
I'm eating spaghetti in my favorite chair.
The crust of bread drenched in garlic
Sops up the rest like a harlot
I will indulge no one can stop me
A simple fair a bar so high
A simple dish but so delicious
