There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Within a Few Days, I Hope This isn’t the second half of a mixed blog entry, but in a way, it is. After all, this is my second blog entry for today. Only this one is for my ‘Other Than Scriptwriting’ blog, and the one earlier today was for my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog. Why do I have two blog entries? It's because yesterday morning, I checked, and there was no prompt for this month’s WDC Short Story Contest. I thought I would be working on my Episode Three Scene Outline yesterday evening at work. Yesterday afternoon, just before I went to work, I posted my blog entry for yesterday. I checked, and the prompt for this month has come in. It must have been posted shortly after I last checked it. Whenever it came in, it didn’t matter. What matters is that it is there now. Instead of working on my Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project, I started working on this Short Story. When I got home from work last night, I decided to split up my blog entries for today. Usually, I write both of them right now and then post them one after the other in my two blogs. I decided it was best to write this blog entry right now. Unfortunately, I don’t have much to write about in this blog entry except why I’m writing two today. Before I got to work yesterday evening, I remembered a short story that matched the prompt for this month's WDC Short Story Contest. I spent the six hours of my shift working on the planning part of this Short Story. Unfortunately, I had no time to write any of it physically. I was going to start working on this Short Story today. I was hoping to write two or three Sections today, but I only wrote about a hundred words of the first Part today. Why didn’t I get more written today? What is the usual reason I don’t get too much writing done? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. My brother and I didn’t have much to do today, but what we needed to do took us most of the day to accomplish. As a result, I only had about an hour to work on this Short Story. Thanks to Grammarly Pro, I was lucky that I got about a hundred words written for this Short Story today. |
