About Four Per Hour
About Four Per Hour

I got forty-seven paragraphs written last night at work. That equals about four paragraphs per hour. How did I get so many paragraphs written for the Episode Two Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project? I don’t know how I only got so many paragraphs written last night. All I know is that I got them written.

What is the breakdown of what I wrote last night? I needed twenty numeric paragraphs to find writing Act One of this episode. And I got them written about halfway through my shift. The other twenty-seven paragraphs came out of Act Two. Two of these paragraphs were Establishing Shots. And the other twenty-five were numeric paragraphs.

Maybe that’s why I got so many paragraphs in the second half of my shift. It’s because it’s Act Two. Act Twos and Act Fours are usually easier for me to write because Act Two ends the first half of an episode and Act Four is a last action-oriented Act. After all, the Teaser Act starts an episode and the Tag Act ties up the end of an episode.

Tonight I only work six hours. So, I may not get any paragraphs written tonight. Especially, if it’s like last Sunday. I didn’t get any writing done last Sunday. Of course, I wanted to get some writing done. after I brought up the documents on my laptop, I constantly was staring at it. But I never physically did any writing.

It's very probable that may happen again this week and every Sunday while I’m at this Post with this schedule. That may change if the hours change at this Post or I get another Post. I don’t think either of these changes will take place. But one or both of these changes could take place. It has happened before with my old company.

This company is new to me as an employee. All I can go by with it is what has happened with me and this company so far. And so far, it has been this way. Of course, I have only worked for them at this Post for two weeks. It could change or it may not. That’s up in the air right now. But I don’t think it will change.

The only thing that hopefully will change is the time I spend at this top. Not the number of hours per week, I like my schedule, but the time it takes to do my shifts. At my old company, my shifts went very quickly. It didn’t feel like I was working the total number of hours per shift. Unfortunately, I can’t say that with this company yet.

I think tonight will be like last Sunday. I’m not going to get any writing done tonight. It will be tomorrow afternoon that I will get any writing done on this project. That’s if I get any writing done then. After all, I still need to create my WDC Short Story for this month. I also need to post my Plugs and My Notebook too.
