Puff the Magic Dragon

Puff the magic dragon
Lived by the sea
He felt that he was in a rut
A real quaqmire.


He no longer wanted
To breath fire
For he was terrified
Of flames.

And tired of being seen
As a fierce animal
Scaring the children
In the neighorhood.

He ran to the ocean
To put out the flames
Whenever he opened
His mouth.

He did not know what to do
Until the wizard Merlin
Came up with a muzzel
That he could wear.

That would prevent
Flames from starting
And allowing him
To walk about freely.

Puff the magic dragon
Was no longer fierce
And began making friends
With the kids in the neighborhood.
