Roxy Vix is a fox humanoid female who seemed to have just appeared on the streets of the Market on Nezoom. She was ragged and dirty and slept in empty stalls or booths when she could.
Roxy didn't get along with the other Street Urchin kids. They would pick on her and pull her tail and ears. They made fun of her pointy nose and matted fur.
One day, one of the other kids (a jackal humanoid male named Leonardo) dared Roxy to try to steal a potion from one of the stalls. The girl pigeon humanoid triplets giggled at Roxy and said the potion would turn her into a princess. Roxy ran off crying. The potion stall they wanted her to steal from belonged to Ronda Snipe; a snake woman humanoid that was known to hex creatures who crossed her.
Roxy waited until the moons set and the lights came on in the Market. There were more shadows to hide in at that time. That was also when Madam Ronda's shop opened. She had very few customers that night. Roxy hid in the alley across the street from Ronda's shop. When it got close to closing time, Roxy decided it was now or never to make her move. She slinked across the street and ducked below the counter of the shop. She reached above, snatched a bottle and ran.
Roxy was three streets away when she stopped running. She ducked down another alley and pressed herself against a wall, sliding down it into a crouch. Then she looked at the potion bottle. The potion inside was a glittery pink. The potion she was supposed to get was a pastel purple. Roxy held back her tears and frustration. She would have to go back to the shop and get the right potion. She stood up and turned to exit the alley......
Roxy ran straight into Ronda. The snake woman reached for her with long fingers and pointy nails. She grasped Roxy's shoulder.
"You are very brave to try to steal from me," she hissed.
"Please, I need the purple potion that will turn me into a princess."
Ronda hissed and laughed. "Seems as though you have good instincts as well. Come. I will show you."
Roxy had no choice but to go with Ronda, who still had a grip on her shoulder.
Ronda took Roxy back to her stall and through a secret door at the back of it that led into the side of the hill. She put Roxy in a chair. Suddenly Roxy couldn't move. Ronda sneered and her forked tongue licked her lips. She took the pink potion from Roxy.
"Who told you it would make you a princess?"
Roxy looked down. "I just heard It somewhere."
"Your own instincts served you better. You need the pink before the purple."
Ronda poured the pink potion over Roxy's head. It coated her fur from her ears to tail...
"Princess is wrong. What I will do is give you the beauty you already possess."
Ronda poured the purple potion over Roxy. This time the potion traveled into her ears, eyes and mouth. Roxy trembled and whined slightly. She squinted her eyes. She passed oout on the floor.
When Roxy came to it was the next night. Ronda threw a towel at her. "Take a shower my princess."
Roxy rose from the lounge that Ronda had placed her on. She realized she was taller, thinner and sleeker. Her clothes were gone. Her chest was fuller. She felt older. She went to the shower and found a bottle marked "use this". The contents smelled sweet and it foamed in her hands. She washed herself thoroughly and rinsed, getting out and drying herself. Her fur was soft and shiny.
When Roxy got back to the lounge there was a sports top and shorts in blue laying on it. Surprisingly they fit her perfectly.
Ronda had entered the room. "Welcome to your new life, my princess."
