The Autumn Witch
Now that we know a little witch is behaving so
We have to follow her to know where her garden grows
Does she have a horse and plow or other such things
And does she bless the crops and with a bird's voice sing

A bountiful harvest to farmers brings an autumn witch
Her potions powerful and robust, with her nose she does twitch
Herbs and dragon's hooves, little girls and little boys
Into the cauldron they all go, dancing to give away their toys

Pied Piper's playing softly now so the children won't ever know
How they helped a Witch place a spell upon the town under its nose
A sleek black kitten sleeps next to her ancient book of spells
And wafting through the air spiced sage still strongly smells

But not all is as it seems a few things are out of place
A mirrored house with clocks that have no face
They move around so fast they can't be seem
Those ghosts and goblins of Halloween

Wreaking havoc wherever they go
Always ahead of winter's snow
The autumn sprites are quite clever
And in her way they do endeavor
