A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Only Needed Fifteen I still don’t know what happened to me yesterday. I’ve been thinking about it all night and all day today. And I still don’t understand why I didn’t get any writing done yesterday. It’s probably something I will never know the answer to. This doesn’t happen very often. But it does happen sometimes. No matter what happened yesterday, it didn’t affect my sleeping last night or my writing today. I got plenty of both ie sleeping last night and writing today. Of course, it wasn’t a perfect last night's sleep. I did get up several times during the night. But I feel right back to sleep. So, I got plenty of sleep last night ie eight hours at least. As for how much writing I accomplished today, that didn’t affect what didn’t happen to me yesterday. After all, I got fifteen paragraphs written for the Part Two Scene Outline for my Water Wars Scriptwriting project. Fifteen paragraphs is all I needed to end Act One of this Scene Outlines. And that’s what I got. Only it wasn’t just barely this time. I had about an hour to kill, no pun intended, today. That means I probably could have gotten another five paragraphs written today, maybe even six or seven. After all, at least three of these paragraphs were for Establishing Shots. The other two to four would have been numeric scenes. So, why didn’t I get started on Act Two? It was because of my brother. He doesn’t know if it was a dream or if it really happened, but last week he thinks he may have had a stroke or a heart attack. He called a nurse today and they said it to go to Emergency. Since it happened last week, he didn’t want to go today. We are going tomorrow. That’s why I didn’t get any more writing done today. My brother’s health isn’t the only thing that stopped me from getting more paragraphs written today. We didn’t have a lot of things we needed to do today. But my brother and I did have a few things that needed doing today. Luckily, it only took us about two hours to do them. I still had plenty of time to work on this Scene Outline and this project. I don’t know how much time I will have tomorrow for my writing of this Scene Outline. After all, I’m taking my brother to the doctor tomorrow morning. If everything turns out okay, I should be home by about one PM WDC time. That means I should have plenty of time to get a lot of this project written. It all depends on my brother. This is why this blog entry for today is about an hour earlier than it usually is. It’s because I will be going to sleep soon after I post it. After all, my brother and I are getting up early tomorrow morning so that I can take him to the doctor. I will need to get another eight hours of sleep if I can get it. I’m sure that I will get it tonight too. |
