A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Still Only Nineteen I got close to twenty-four paragraphs to finish the Teaser Act of the Part Two Scene Outline of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, I only got nineteen paragraphs written today. That’s still good, especially with me writing it. But it’s still not twenty-four. I still need five more paragraphs to end this Act. With only about six hours to work on this project today, that equals about three paragraphs per hour or about twenty minutes per paragraph. Twenty minutes isn’t too good. But this is the beginning of an Episode. It’s also a conclusion to an explosive ending to a Part One cliffhanger. Usually, I don’t have this many problems with a Teaser Act. Teaser Acts in an Episode can be hard to do because they are the beginning of a new Episode. But this one is different, though. That’s because it’s the aftermath of a cliffhanger from Part One. So, it has been a lot harder to write. I still think nineteen paragraphs are good. For once or is it twice, I was right about something. My brother and I didn’t have anything we needed to get done today. Partially, that was because of the weather. But we have gone out in worse weather than today when we needed to get something done. This wasn’t one of those days. Tomorrow, it’s supposed to be another morning rainstorm. But it should be over with about the time I get up. So, my brother and I will probably have some things we need to do tomorrow. I know we need to do a few things. But I don’t think it will take us too long to do them. If I’m lucky, it will take us about half a day to finish doing them. If it is only half a day, I should have about four to five hours to work on this project. I may get another nineteen paragraphs written. But four of them will probably be Establishing Shots. Most likely because of the time frame, it will probably be about fourteen if I’m lucky. Hopefully, I can get another nineteen paragraphs written tomorrow. After all, my brother and I are returning to our old place for our final time on Monday or Tuesday. We want it to be Monday. But we haven’t booked a truck yet. That’s something else I think we are doing to do tomorrow. Because it’s for the day after tomorrow, it could be Tuesday. Whether it’s Monday or Tuesday, I probably won’t be getting too much writing done that day. I may be lucky if I get to write my blog entry for that day. It shouldn't be that bad. But it could be that bad or worse. This is another reason why I want to get as much writing done as I can until then. |
