A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
The Somewhat Hard Way No, I didn’t need to go Cold Turkey today. In a way, I did go that way. But this time I didn’t have to do it this way. I chose to go Cold Turkey today. Usually, I need to go Cold Turkey because I have no choice but to do it. I didn’t need to do it today. It just helped me with my writing to do it. I needed to write nineteen paragraphs for the Part One Scene Outline of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that’s how many paragraphs I wrote today. But I wouldn’t have gotten that many if I didn’t go Cold Turkey today. I probably would have gotten fourteen written if not for going Cold Turkey today. All I needed to end Act Four was five numeric scenes/five paragraphs. The other fourteen paragraphs were the first third of the Tag Act for Part One of this Project. Overall, I wrote fifteen numeric scene paragraphs and four Establishing Shot paragraphs. That means I still have about twenty paragraphs left to write before I’m finished with Part One of this Movie Introduction. It should be twenty paragraphs. But it may be a little bit over that if I have any more Establishing Shots or flashbacks. I don’t think I will have either one of these extra paragraphs, but I may be wrong about that. Will I get the twenty numeric scene paragraphs I need to finish this Part tomorrow? If it’s anything like today, the answer to this question is yes. I won’t count on that until it happens, though. After all, I may not have all day to work on this project like I did today. My brother got his money in finally. So, I may not have too much time to work on this project tomorrow. I should have a few hours to work on it. But I may not have enough time to finish this Part. If I don’t get it done, I should be able to do it Thursday. That’s if we don’t go back to our old place Thursday. That is still a possibility. As of right now, my brother and I will be returning to our old place this Friday. But he has been talking about it being tomorrow or Thursday. It doesn’t sound like it will be tomorrow, but it could be Thursday. I don’t think it will be Thursday. But Thursday is still a possibility. Hopefully, it will be Friday or Saturday before my brother and I return to our old place. If so, I should not only get Part One finished, but I should start Part Two. I probably won’t get more than five to ten numeric paragraphs written from Part Two. But I should get it started. It all depends on when we return to our old place. |
