Jots and Tittles and other Random Things

Happy August 1st

Where in the world did June and July go? School is getting ready to start for my grandkids, and where I am, college is getting ready to ramp up...The traffic is getting worse I hope the 100+ degree weather starts settling down...the baking heat takes my breath away. The stair railing gets so hot sometimes, that I've started using an oven mitt to get up the stairs to the apartment. We are supposed to be going to a downstairs apartment at the end of the month, so that won't be an issue next summer. LOL.

The year seemed to go by so slowly, then all of a sudden, I am seeing fall and Christmas memes all over the place. Don't get me wrong, I love fall/winter; I'm just not quite ready for Christmas yet. The 15th of this month will be the 2nd anniversary for me here on WdC. I haven't been quite as active as I've wanted to be, but I'm still here. I hope to be a little more active than I have been. I'm going to end this for now, but I hope everybody has a great August!
