A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Still No Prompt for This Month Today is almost over and there is still no WDC prompt for this month yet. I have been checking it out every hour or two since I got up early this morning and this prompt hasn’t shown up. It doesn’t look like we will have a Rhythm and Writing prompt this year. There is still just over an hour until the end of today for it to show up, about an hour or less when I finish writing this blog entry and posting it. I try to finish writing my blog entries about a half hour before the end of the day. Sometimes it’s a bit earlier than that and sometimes I barely get it posted by the end of the day. If I remember correctly, this has happened two to four times before. At least it has since I started entering these contests. By the time I post this blog entry in about forty-five minutes, this prompt may be there. If not, it probably won’t be in there today. It may be soon after midnight WDC time. But it still won’t be today. Since this prompt hasn’t shown up so far today, I have been working on the single-sentence Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It took me about two hours longer to return to our new place from our old place. So, I only had a few hours to work on these Outlines. Unfortunately, I only got one hundred and twenty single sentences written today. That’s thirty better than yesterday, but about double less than the last few days before yesterday. Why didn’t I get more single sentences written today? I think there were several reasons why. I think the main reason why is because of the WDC prompt for this month or the lack of it. Checking on it every hour or two gave me a lack of concentration. It was hard for me to concentrate on these single sentences because of these checkings. Unfortunately, my lack of concentration wasn’t the only reason I didn’t do more today. Another reason was a lack of sleep. With getting up early this more, and having problems with my possible gout right foot, I only got about six or seven hours. Normally, six or seven hours is a good night’s sleep. But last night it was different because of my possible gout. Today may be almost over. But tomorrow is about to begin. If the new WDC prompt doesn’t come out before I go to sleep tonight, it should be there when I get up tomorrow. What does that mean for my Water Wars scriptwriting project? It means for the next week or two hopefully, I will be working on this Short Story for this month. If for some reason there is no WDC prompt for this month, I will continue working on my single-sentence Scene Outlines. I don’t remember an email or an announcement there wouldn’t be a WDC prompt for this month. But I may have missed it. if I did, I would continue to work on this scriptwriting project. |
