A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Six Plus Six Equals Twelve
Six Plus Six Equals Twelve

Unfortunately, I only got twelve single paragraphs written today for Part One of the Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Six of them were Establishing Shots and six were for numeric scenes. Why didn’t I get more written today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done?

It's normally because of what my brother and I needed to get done that day, and in a way, that’s true today. Usually, we need to do things outside the house, and we did a little bit today, but most of what needed to be done took place inside our new place. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing done today.

Twelve single paragraphs isn’t too bad with only a few hours of writing time. But it could have been better. Maybe not a lot better, but better. If I could have gotten three more numeric scenes written would have been a little bit better. But I didn’t get those three scenes written.

It wasn’t just the number of single paragraphs that I got written today, though. I also had quite a few problems with Sentence Structure, and now that I don’t have Grammarly to help me with three of them I have to do it on my own. Today it wasn’t that easy to figure out some of them.

Hopefully, I will get a lot more writing done tomorrow. but that may not happen. After all, it is a Monday, and Mondays aren’t too productive too much of the time. Usually, it’s because of what my brother and I need to do that Monday. But sometimes there’s another reason why. Another reason why is because of the WDC prompt this month.

I haven’t checked WDC in the last few hours. But the last time I checked it the WDC Prompt for this month hadn’t come in yet. This is the second day it hasn’t shown up. It usually does by now. But sometimes it’s three days before it shows up. I don’t know why it’s like that, but it is. After it does show up, I will start working on that Short Story.

It has been about eight months since we had a Science Fiction Short Story Contest. If there hasn’t been longer than that. At least it hasn’t been one for me. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have had some. But I wasn’t invited to participate in it. That has happened before.

I’m not crazy about the prompt for this contest. So, I may not enter it anyway. Then again, I might. After all, I love a challenge, and this one is good. I do know one thing. If I decide to enter this contest, it won’t be another DeathBringer Short Story.
