A Slight Mess Up
A Slight Mess Up

After I wrote and posted my blog entry, I found out my brother and I did have one thing we wanted to do today. It wasn’t something we needed to do today. But something we wanted to do. Luckily it didn’t take us too long to do it. I still had plenty of time to get some writing done today.

What did we want to do today? We wanted to go check out our old place to be sure everything was still alright there. Both of us were sure everything was alright there. But we still wanted to see it for ourselves. Since we were there, we also picked up some things to bring back to our new place. So, it wasn’t a wasted trip.

Everything was okay there. We didn’t think there would be something wrong. At least I didn’t. But my brother wanted to be sure. So, we went down there. It took us longer to drive to or from there than it took us to be there. As a result, it didn’t take us too long at all to do it.

It also didn’t take us too long because of when we did it. We left here early this morning and we got back about halfway through the noon hour. What does that mean for my writing? It means I had about six hours to work on the Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I took that to my advantage too.

Overall, I got twenty-four single paragraphs written today. Four of them were Establishing Shots and twenty were numeric single paragraphs. I only needed five single paragraphs to end Act One of this Part. That means I got fifteen single paragraphs written for Act Two.

Not only did I finish writing Act One for this project, but I also finished Act Two aka the first half of Part One. I probably could have written two or three more single paragraphs. After all, I did have about a half hour to spare today. but they would have been Establishing Shots. May the first numeric scene number.

Besides, if I had of started Act Three I would be dipping into the second half of this Part. I decided not to do that. If it would have been a few more single paragraphs, I probably would have written them. But I only had about a half hour. So, I decided not to do it.

I’m not sure about tomorrow yet. As far as I know, my brother and I have nothing we need or want to do. But that’s not all this time. It’s that time of the month when I usually start writing my WDC Short Story for that month. I can’t do that because I don’t have a genre prompt yet. At least I did a few hours ago when I checked.

That’s not all that big of a surprise, though. It hasn’t even been a full day this month. Besides, it often takes two or three days after the start of the month before a prompt shows up. It could be there now. But there is also a good chance it still isn’t there too.
