He Might Be Doing It Again

My Branch Manager may be doing it again. This Friday and Saturday are supposed to be my last days at my current security post. After that, I’m taking almost a month off to move back to Missouri. When I do go back to work for this company it will be in Missouri.

I got an email from my Branch Manager a few days ago, and it read like I’m not going to be getting my four weeks off after all. Just before I started writing this blog entry, I checked, and I do still have the third and fourth of May off. But the way the email reads, I don’t.

I’m not surprised that something like this has happened. I expected something like this to happen. Just wasn’t sure what it would be until now. The big questions are will it happen and what will happen this Friday and Saturday? After all, I still haven’t heard anything from my Site Supervisor yet.

When I go in to work tomorrow, I may or may not get an update from my Site Supervisor. It could go either way. He may know Saturday is my last day or he may not. I wouldn’t be surprised if my Branch Supervisor hadn’t told him about my last day being Saturday yet.

There’s also another possibility. Since I’m not giving up my May third and May fourth of my vacation, my Branch Supervisor may retaliate by taking away my privileges this Friday and Saturday. That would be stupid for him to do. But he may still do it, though.

That’s why this Friday and Saturday are still up in the air in more ways than just one. If I do still have my privileges, I will continue working on the single-paragraph Story Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project, and if not, I will have plenty of time to complain about it.

I don’t think I will lose my privileges this Friday and Saturday at work. If that’s true, I should be able to get the single-paragraph Story Outline for episode one and probably episode two written. May even be able to get a little bit of episode three written.

I’m hoping to get to episode three by the end of Saturday. But with the number of paragraphs I have been writing lately, I may be lucky to finish episode two this Saturday. Lately, I have been averaging eight paragraphs per day. If I keep that up, then I will finish episode two too.

Whether I get to episode three or not, I will still have about two episodes left before I finish writing these single-paragraph Story Outlines. Unfortunately, because of our move to Missouri, I don’t know how much time I’m going to have to work on my writing. If I have any time at all.
