Ballad of George
Father of John Wrangler

He was born a Lucky Eleven Gen –
Born to be Declared Free,
But life is hardly fair,
For a human that was born,
In a world of Vampires and Werewolves
And thus George’s eyelid was branded,
Stating that he was Owned by the Fangs.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

His father, John, knew that wrong was done,
And thus plotted, and waited, until the time was right.
Or, rather, until he could wait no more,
For when he took to coughing up blood.
Old John knew that his time was near the end,
And soon, he’d be nothing more
Than F-Grade Fertilizer.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

Old John took a machete and a hammer,
And soon the ground ran red,
With the blood of werewolf and vampire,
Over a dozen slain by his hands,
He bought his son the time he needed to escape,
Before he was brought to the ground.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

But before he was sent into
The stomach of a Fertilizer Producer,
Old John had this to say,
“You who once owned my blood,
Know that these words be true,
You might have ended me,
But Mine will end Yours.”

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

George had ran as fast as he could,
Until he was found by Ferals.
They removed his brand,
At the cost of his eye.
However, he had a talent,
And soon caught the eye
Of the Herd Leader’s daughter.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

Somehow, George managed,
And became the Mate,
Of this particular female.
She would bless him with a son,
Whom they named John.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

They were a happy family,
But one day tragedy struck,
When Mate and Son were taken,
While gathering berries.
Thus George grabbed
A machete and a hammer
And felt as if a circle had come.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

It took George a day and a night,
To find out where
His family had been taken.
His wife was rendered braindead,
To be drained of blood.
For vampires to drink.
And John was soon to be next.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

With a loud angry roar,
George smashed his way in.
Just as with his father before,
The ground soon ran red
With the blood of vampires and werewolves

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

However, a mortal blow,
George soon took,
And the place caught afire.
With the last of his strength,
He cleared a way,
For his son to get away.
Then he let the timbers fall,
Claiming the lives of over thirty,
He bought his son the time to escape.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

Thus the end of George,
But not the end of his line.
His line would live,
And more vampires and werewolves
Have been claimed by them.
Their blood has been spilled upon the ground,
Coating the dirt in red.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

So young vampires and werewolves,
You’d best listen real good to my tale,
For if you’re out on a hunt,
And you come across a Feral,
Who looks you right in the eyes,
With no fear in theirs,
Just know that you just might be,
Looking at one of old George’s line.

This is the Ballad of George,
Father of John Wrangler.
He’s the reason these days,
Vampires and Werewolves
Now have something to Fear.

So if you encounter one of George’s line,
Here is what you must do,
If you want to survive.
Don’t bare fang or claw at them,
Point your weapons away,
Great them as if they,
Were another Vampire or Werewolf,
And you’ll walk away unharmed,
Otherwise you’ll be lucky,
If they merely take a tooth from you.
I know this to be true,
For I am of George’s line!

(Purported original teller is claimed to be George Wrangler, son of Tobias Wrangler, son of John Wrangler, son of George, son of John. Alleged ownership of the first John by the Fang family is most likely an exaggeration, though not impossible, given that one of the Fangs was killed by a Livestock human during an attempted escape, and the Wranglers and Fangs having engaged in hostilities over the years, in one manner or another. Even to this day, Fangs need to be cautious around the Wrangler herd, although they aren’t fully welcomed by the Wolfes themselves anyways, due to the fact that the Fangs stole their livestock, back when the Wolfes once ran the Wolfe Family Farm, before they became the Wolfe Family Park.)
