Sonnet - Week 32
If today, you find my house is a mess
And worry about my housekeeping skill,
Let me, your worries, be sure to address
I have not gone missing, nor taken ill.

Though a cow and a pig do live with us,
And often are found in the living room
Amongst scattered Legos, I make no fuss
Whilst sweeping up breakfast crumbs with a broom.

I’ll sing Old MacDonald a thousand times,
Before he is grown and gone off to school,
Make funny faces and sing silly rhymes:
For Grandma’s the best at playing the fool.

This time of my life brings my greatest joy,
The sweet smile and laughter of a small boy.
