Passion's Call
Crying out in passion
It is now complete;
Thunder echoed in the distance;
At such a terrible feat.

Would there be anger?
Even retribution?
For a tomb would come
At this bleak conclusion.

No, it is finished,
Sin's debt is now repaid,
Rest for three days in
This body now laid.

But the story isn't complete;
The third morning shines bright.
The tomb is empty;
It is indeed a glorious sight.

All of this came to us,
A gift of unparalleled price-
When God took the form of a man
In wonderous self-sacrifice.
