Save the Whales from evil windmills

One thing I don’t understand.
Is the right-wing hatred
Of renewable energy
Particularly windmills.

You would think.
The party of business
Would eagerly embrace.
The great business opportunities,

To rebuild American infrastructure,
And lead the world.
In solving the climate crisis.

So much money
To be made
By doing good
For the planet.

But no,
They refuse to do it.
Refuse to do a damn thing
About the whole climate change thing
Dismissing it as a left-wing hoax.
.
Their solution?
Drill, Baby, Drill.
While ending support
For renewable energy.

And restricting the EPA’s
Ability to respond to the climate change
Real life world wide crisis.

Even banning the sale
Of electric cars.


The latest right-wing freakout?
Offshore windmills
Caused whales to die.

And ruin the views.
Of beachgoers.
Not to mention the birds
And the bats…

And according
to their dear leader
Donald Trump,
Windmills even cause
Cancer!

All complete nonsense
But all part of the right-wings
Refusal to deal with climate change.
As the world burns up.

Their corporate masters
Making a fortune
Drilling for oil
Raping mother earth
As the world becomes
More uninhabitable.
.
Monsters storms become normal.
Smoky air everywhere
Fires burning all over the world.
And 70 percent of the public
Demand action.

But no, we must
Save the whales.
From the evil Chinese-made
offshore windmills.
