A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
A Big Surprise No, it’s not really a big surprise. It’s just a term that I use quite often in real life when something happens that isn’t a surprise to me. That’s what happened to me today. I wrote in my last blog entry that there wouldn’t be any prompt today for either one of the contests that I have been entering lately. One of those contests wasn’t any kind of a surprise. Because there hasn’t been a prompt for this contest in the last two months. If there is a miracle this month, and there is a prompt for it, it won’t be here until the weekend. That’s at the earliest. It could be two or three weeks before it comes out. If it comes out at all. There’s still a very good chance it won’t come out even then. At least it won’t be for me. I think I have been banned from some more contests. Only these haven’t banned me officially. Hope that I’m wrong about this, but it sure doesn’t look like I am. I don’t like being banned from something just because I don’t write like everyone else. If I have been banned from more contests, that’s the reason why. Hopefully, I’m wrong about this too, but it’s starting to look like I have been. I may be able to contact this host via email. Then again, I may not be able to do it. After all, I can’t with A. E. Willcox. Haven’t emailed them yet. I think the host for these contests is male. It sounds like he is, but I don’t know for sure. That’s why I’m using ‘them’ above. Whoever the host is for these contests, they shouldn’t be treating anyone like this. If they have banned me, there’s nothing that I can do about it according to WDC, but they should tell me they have done it. The WDC Contest, which is usually a Short Story contest, should be posting their prompt any time now. Sometimes it’s only a few hours on the first day of the month, and sometimes it may be a day or two before we get a prompt. I want them to be posted right now, but in a way, it’s a good thing they haven’t been. It gives me more time to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, this has been a very typical second day off from work aka a Tuesday. My brother and I have been very busy doing things that needed to get done today, and they took most of the day to do them. Another big surprise. As a result, I haven’t had too much time to work on this project. What little time I have had to work on this project, I have been spending doing some more research to see if I can convert my handwriting to text. It’s still looking like I can do it. I’m just not sure how it will happen. I thought I might be able to do it through my Scanner, but I may not be able to do it that way. Now it’s looking like I may need to do it through OneNote after all. That may be a problem too, though. It looks like One Note is living up to its name. They want notes, not single paragraphs or sentences. Unless I can do them individually. That may be what I need to do. If so, it can still be done. |
