Ending the month of July

It does feel good to be back to writing. I cannot believe that August 1st is tomorrow !

I'm feeling mostly better and shaken myself off. I've already put my first new poem in for the Promptly Poetry Challenge of 2023/2024. "Week 1 - Home" 

I sent Schnujo's Giving Away GPs a MB, just because ruwth thought it was a good thing to do . I happen to agree with her!

It just dawned on me that I'm up over 600 reviews now. The Tour de Ports pushed me over the mark . I'm excited about the new month. Here's hoping that I may be able to go back to work. Lots of things to do, and for heaven's sake, Christmas is around the corner .

I'm fine with that; I'm actually looking forward to some cooler weather - July was just too hot , and I don't see much of a let up for August (but one can hope, can they not?

So as I say goodbye to July, I am looking forward to August and beyond. In just a couple of weeks, I will be celebrating my first anniversary here. Time has just been flying! My daughter gifted me a new year's worth of WdC, so I'm happy to say that I am around for another year . We shall see what this new year brings!
