365 Days of Blessing _ May 27, 2023

Dear God,

Even when Your psalmist doesn’t quite seem to understand everything about life, what he does understand is that Your laws are everything for sustaining life.

There is comfort in Your Words O God. Those who are in step with You will employ their talent and use their time to adhere to Your word. No fluctuation. We will find the songs that give inner love and peace. We will write them again and again. Everything else, especially the materialism and arrogance of the workers of darkness, siphons off our joy. Thank You for giving to Your people Your true love and expressing it in such a brilliant manner. Thank You.

Psalm 119:49-50 & 52 & 54

Remember Your word to Your servant, in which You have made me hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your promise gives me life.

When I think of Your rules of old, I take comfort, O LORD.

Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning.

I will make this a day of praise for You, O glorious Lord of All Creation. You are the one who has made all things, even my muscles to be spent in lifting up Your Holy Name. Holy Spirit, fill me, that my songs would be true to the tempo of Your holy commands, statutes and precepts. Give me new tunes and a heart filled with a glorious melody to exalt You forever, as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Thank You. Amen.
