365 Days of Blessing _ May 21, 2023

Dear God,

In our "war" of the single day, a battle of truth and righteousness, You give us two things – deliverance from the destruction our enemy brings, and success in tearing down his strongholds. Either way Your Church is bringing out of captivity the ones You have chosen to live in freedom. As both “things” are realized there is a second praise that goes up above the praise that brought the strongholds down – It is the praise of God’s children giving glory to God for what You did in the battle, and for what You will do in the one to come. I praise You Lord for crushing the strongholds of our enemy!

Psalm 118:25-29

Save us, we pray, O LORD! O LORD, we pray, give us success!

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless You from the House of the LORD.

The LORD is God, and He has made His light to shine upon us. Bind the festal sacrifice with cords, up to the horns of the altar!

You are my God, and I will give thanks to You; You are my God; I will extol You.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!

I Will Rejoice! You are a faithful God, making my enemies perish, as my praise strikes down strongholds. I Will Praise You, O God Who Gives The Victory!
