April 7 Living Still
Living Still
To Jerusalem City, I have come,
my sole mission is one of love and hope.
I seek to encounter the Holy One
and I'm advised He's just up this steep slope
Golgotha, guided by a misanthrope.
Diverse crowds have gathered, some scream, some cry.
There He hangs on a cross ready to die.
His life taught so much, His death will teach more.
I kneel in grief and gratitude. Here's why,
His life through me, I embrace to the core.
~~Judi Van Gorder
