What God Says About Sexual Sin

WHAT GOD SAYS, EMPHATICALLY, ABOUT SEXUAL SIN

God calls our physical, human body, the temple of the Holy Ghost. We are created in the very image of God.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV

Whoever commits sexual sin is sinning against their own body.

Every sin, whatever a person commits, is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. –1 Corinthians 6:18

Hell was not made for us, but for the devil and his angels. (Matthew 25:41) However, even the demons believe (in God) and fear and tremble. (See James 2:18.) God is all powerful; He is also the embodiment of Love. (See 1 John 4:7&8)

Who will be cast into the lake of fire? According to Revelation 21:8:

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

According to Galatians 5:17-21:

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would. But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

God commands us to turn from our wicked ways and turn toward Him. This is called repentance. And without repentance, there is no remission of sin. (See Luke 13:3.) All men are desperately wicked in and of themselves. God says, Without repentance, no man shall see God. (See Hebrews 12:14.) When we turn to God, though our sins be as scarlet, we shall be white as snow. (See Isaiah 1:18.)
 
RE: LGBTQ?

God says we are to love the sinner but hate the sin. It’s the kindness of God that draws each and every one of us to repentance. (See Romans 2:4.) We are to align with Him and speak only the Truth to all men, in love.

If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him.” -- Luke 17:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

God admonishes us:

Know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free. (See John 8:31.) Jesus says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father but by me. (See John 14:6.) Jesus is the incarnate Word of God made flesh... (See the book of John, Chapter 1.) He came to fulfill the Law, not to abolish it. (See Matthew 5:17.) He came to show us the heart of the Father. (See John 14:9.)

The only way any of us can live for God is by surrendering to Him, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, and allowing ourselves to be led (directed) by the Holy Spirit of God who is our comforter and teacher.

Reading, studying and knowing the Word of God, cleanses us and leads us into all Truth.

Sexual perversion defiles us and is unacceptable to God. When we give ourselves over to, consent to sin, that sin becomes a stronghold, blinding us to the Truth.

Jesus came to save us from our sin. When we turn to Him, believe on Him/in Him, we open the door of our hearts to Him. He says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (See Revelation 3:20.)

The law given in the Old Testament was meant to show us that we cannot keep the law in and of ourselves, we need a Savior. The scripture points us to Jesus, our only Lord and Savior. He was sacrificed in our stead on the cross ---- He took upon Himself our sin and the sin of the whole world. His resurrection from the dead, was confirmation to the world that God accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for our sin.

When we turn to Him --- Jesus --- He takes away our sin and cleanses us. He says, If you abide in me and my Words abide in you, ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. (See John 15:7.)
