365 Days of Blessing __ March 2, 2023

Dear God,

Hallowed be Your Name. Now and always. Now and always Lord Your name is Holy. The Angels cry holy. Your heavenly host cry holy. You are loving, steadfast and merciful and I love You.

I know there is a writing zone that demands my attention now.

I have allowed it to take a central place in my life, but it is my thorn. I admit I have taken it on to soothe something in me. It is my temptation. I admit it and have some guilt. I will not justify this, but put a demand on my soul to never make it more than it is: a way to be social with my writing.

In every way that a man can sin, I have sinned. I have lived all of my life in sin and from time to time wake up with the urges in my heart to sin some more. I have perpetual images of hate, lust, greed, avarice, malice and slander. The thoughts sometimes prevail over my sense.

I allocate funds for trinkets and do not put the poor at a highest priority and I rest, more than I work. For all of these sins and more Lord I repent. I ask You to please forgive me in Your mercy and hold no sin as a debt against me. Thank You. I know that by Your Word and the Blood of Christ Jesus I am forgiven and made clean and I receive Your salvation today, and always. Thank You.

John 12:44-
Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

You, Lord of All, continue to lift up my head despite my sin and my "drift." Where I have been too much about myself Lord I will continue to repent and be full of Your Manifest Glory as the days go by!
