Voyage Along the River Styx

The river cruise along the Styx River

Sam Adams woke up dead
Found himself on a river cruise
Along the river Styx

Heading towards the gate of Hades
A voyage of the damned
waiting for the judgment date

The boat docked
He got off, found himself
In a lonely forest

On highway 666
The highway to hell
Paved with good intentions

Thinking of things
That sounded good
At the time
 
He was soon surrounded
Surrounded by deceitful faces
he heard the angry voices
Of his many foes and enemies

Soon the faces took shape
In the darkness, he saw them
Raising arms against him
releasing volleys of poisoned arrows

The creatures from his worst nightmares

-Apes, aliens, banshees, bats, Bigfoot, boogeymen, centaurs, Cerebus,
Cheetahs, Cthulu, crows, coyotes, dragons, demons, devils, dwarfs, Goblins, Ghouls,
Ghosts, Giants, Gorillas, Hell hounds, big game hunters, holocausts, Imps, naked incubi,
Leprechauns, lions, ravens, Martians, monsters, orcs, bewitching beautiful yet deadly Sirens, Satyrs,
snakes, serpents, snowmen, tigers, werewolves, wolves, witches, warlocks, wraiths, Wild things,
yeti, and zombies -led by a half-centaur, half-pig monster with two heads – Putin and Trump….

Began chasing him down the dark forest path
barking, growling, screeching, screaming,

"Sam Adams Must Die! Death to Sam Adams"

Heading to the gates of hell
And an uncertain end to his life.
