The gift of home


The wood and bricks make up a part
of this my tiny tan abode,
and hold a spot within my heart
that seldom to the world is showed.
For though large sums to banks are owed,
each morn a smile lights up my face
as grace once more on me bestowed
permits my claim, "This is my place!"
