My So-Called Perfunctory Existence

My (Non-Existent) Lovelife

There's this guy in my school that I started
liking at the beginning of this year. Everybody
thought it was funny and cute and all that but
when he found out about my crush, he was a
little scared off. Not to mention freaked
because he thought we were just really good
friends or something. My other friend forced
him to dance with me at Homecoming and I
think that definitely clued him in. Then at the
last dance, I had this epihany. He had bee
avoiding me all night and wouldn't even say hi.
So I settled it in my head that he was a jerk.
He was so messed up he couldn't even talk to
me. So I figured the heck with him. Then the
other day, he sat next to me in an assembly
and started acting my best friend or
something, right out of the blue. whatever, ok.
Does that mean anything? (Is that a rhetorical
question? I think so. . . )
