Poets don’t have to be nice;
they are often as cold as ice,
throw tantrums, endlessly grumble,
be cranky and talk in a mumble,
turn moody and all antisocial,
like children they’re often precocial.

As long as they dredge up the words,
we’ll forgive them their actions absurd.
