"Prompt: Is it a sin for a Christian to worry?" Worrying is a lack of faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. It goes on to say that those who come to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him." Let's unpack that verse a little. The Greek word for faith here is πίστεως or pisteos and it means faithfulness. We must trust God completely to be pleasing to him. I was in the emergency room last year with a blocked duct in my right kidney. It was on the verge of rupturing from fluid build up. The doctor was amazed at how calm I was. I think stores depend on people like me because we don't look for sales or compare prices. We grab one and go. Usually I buy store brand products. I don't do a lot of shopping these days but when I do I still rush. I have gotten to the point of seeking assistance so I get the best product at the best price.
