The Roof
The roof above the house is great!
The roof above the sky,
it shows His Care, the early, late,
it always draweth nigh.

Like a roof He covers us
with His sheltring wings.
Every day His loves to bless
the hearts His praises sing.

The roof above, the floor beneath,
His arms around to hold.
Eternal good He doth bequeath
to those made purest gold.
