Maybe I am autistic? My dad thought I was a moron.

My dad could write Latin and Greek.
He was the head of the Boston English Department.
He was demoted two years before his retirement.
I was dressed in a blue suit and tie when the school board voted.
His department was reorganized under the Algebra Department Head.
But, he kept his pay rate and advanced placement English class.
The teacher's union made sure of this.
The Algebra Department Head didn't want the English department.
The school board made dad teach a basic English course.
He loved teaching English.

Dad loved me but thought I had scrambled eggs for brains.
He tried to teach me and was marginally successful.
I never learned Greek or much of Latin.
I try to make a positive impression on Writing.com.
Maybe, I will self-publish for money?
I don't feel autistic.
But, most of my friends are dead, moved away, and I have work acquaintances.
I take diabetes medication and vitamins.
I think I am normal...
Whatever that means.
