S'more poets, please [Week 20 entry]

S'more poets, please


The crackling lick of wood-fueled flame
among the logs set in a frame
provides the backdrop for the game.

In turn each names a bard long dead
whose works in English ne'er were read
before the call of "Time!" is said.

The players, keen to raise their scores,
select from writers known to Moors
as, one by one, they snack on s'mores.
