Take UP Your Cross Prompt for September 16th Prompt: Am I vulnerable with God? Do I invite him in to know my pain, weaknesses and fears? Do I open myself up to be corrected, trained and instructed by God’s word? Answer: The answer to all of the above is a resounding yes. Who else can I trust so completely. I tell him things I don't talk to anyone else about. Reading the Bible without the Holy Spirit is like trying to see yourself in the mirror when there are no lights turned on. When the Holy Spirit comes in, there is light. You can then see yourself clearly enough to make changes. You can brush your hair and make sure everything is where it needs to be. That is what the Holy Spirit does with the Bible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic.
