Ten Instead of Five

Unfortunately, I remembered right. I did have ten scenes left to finish Act Three of the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I was hoping that it was five. But I had a feeling that it was ten. And I was right. It was ten.

Too bad it wasn’t five. If it was five, then I would have finished Act Three yesterday at work. unfortunately, I didn’t have that many to do. As a result, I still have five left before I can finish this act. That’s right. I only got five scenes written yesterday at work.

That’s seventy-five lines that I got written. That may not read like a lot. And it isn’t. But I was lucky that I got that many of them written. After all, it was a very typical Wednesday. It was very busy. Unfortunately, a lot of it was outside in one of the hottest days so far this year. If it wasn’t the hottest.

About half of the work that I did was outside yesterday. And with the temperature in the low nineties and the heat index above the hundreds, it made my work even harder. Especially, since I was doing it in a long-sleeved shirt. Unfortunately, that’s why I didn’t get more written yesterday on this project.

I hope that I do a lot better today. And I think that I will. After all, I only have five more scenes left to do to finish Act Three of this movie. And the first two scenes for Act Four are Establishing Shots. So, I should do at least seven scenes today at work. I’m hoping that I can do a few more than that, though.

A lot of how many I get written today depends on how busy it gets at work. And if something happens to get in the way of my work. like having to do another Incident Report. It didn’t happen yesterday. So, there is a very good chance that something will happen today. I hope that it doesn’t happen. But I have a feeling that it will.

If today is anything like the last few Thursdays, then I may be lucky if I get the five done to end Act Three. I think that I can do at least that many scenes. I’m just not sure if I can do more than that. Of course, I hope that I can write a lot more than that. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
