The cockroach runs around my feet
not very sweet
dancing

The cockroach misses aiming toes
it's like it knows
prancing

The cockroach runs behind the fridge
the dark a bridge
away

The cockroach, free as any bird
I say my word
The spray!

Form: "The Logolilt is another treasure gleaned from the pages of Viola Berg's Pathways for the Poet. Invented by Flozari Rockwood, the structure consists of two six-line stanzas divided into triplets whose lines depreciate in length: 8, 4, 2, 8, 4, 2 / 8, 4, 2, 8, 4, 2.
