3-21-2021 Prompt: A Trap poem Trapped I wonder where I should go backward or forward, stay put or venture into an unknown future. How long am I to stay trapped in this alluring prison of uncertainty? This trap of being in the midst of virtual and augmented reality has me completely floored, spellbound. 3-22-2021 Prompt: duck or seeking Seeking Everyday I seek for the beauty Embedded in Mother Nature, Not only for "books in running brooks”, Speech in trees, or "sermons in stones", I also long To hug the shining emerald green of the mountains, The glorious pearly gleam in the dawn skies, Amazing aquamarine in the effervescent sea Priceless gems of people moving around me. 3-23-2021 Prompt: Tools The tool box If the fence needs repair or the kitchen sink jams get the wrench and a pretty pair of pliers to loosen wire, a sturdy hammer to fix a nail. Mexico’s tacos, unique serving of spices Folded into pretty pockets of tortillas. The downtown diner tucked away in small town America has delicious Service served in home style. The Darjeeling tea and the curry masala of India In the backdrop of hill ranges and serene streams. 3-31-2021 Prompt words: Uncertain and Reveal Homecoming She paused on the porch uncertain of her welcome home by her parents. The door opened, mum's eyes teared and revealed a certain pleasure at her girl's unexpected return. Time stands still warm with love. 3-31-2021 Prompt: Tower Towering The tree-house by the towering oak a labor of love by the kids' dad. the oak stood the test of time the tree house weathered rain sun and storm, the builder's gone. Living in lands of wonder dreamscapes, dark or bright my pleasure, my second nature.
