![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My prayers usually consist of prayers of praise and thank you as opposed to prayers of request. I feel God already knows my needs and does not need me to continually pester Him about them. In fact, God knows my needs much better than I do. So instead of going to Him with a long list of requests and "honey-dos", I approach Him with thanksgiving and praise. The only time I make any requests to God is on Sunday morning when I am getting ready to preach. Then I ask His help in surrendering myself completely to Holy Spirit and to use my mouth to get His message across. I seldom pray about a physical need for I know He has already saw the need and is meeting it in His way and His time. ![]() ![]() ![]()
Read this poem and give some feedback. I love the way she took each line of John 3:16 and explained it in poetic format. Another form of expressing John 3:16 I have become impressed with was an acrostic I saw on social media that used letters in certain words to spell out "Valentine." Since Jesus is the ultimate expression of love this seems appropriate to me.
![]() I heard a joke I thought was funny. It said, "They say old age is just in the mind. I disagree. It also in my joints." ![]() “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” ― Abraham Lincoln “Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.” ― Abraham Lincoln “There are no bad pictures; that's just how your face looks sometimes.” ― Abraham Lincoln "Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm.” ― Abraham Lincoln agree with Lincoln about America never falling to the outside but destroying itself. His statements seem to be coming true today!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
