Just some crazy things that really happen in this life of mine. |
| I decided a while ago to let go of the internet. I wanted to give myself time to work on a couple of story ideas and a book, without the distractions that comes with Facebook, Twitter, and Yahoo news. I did not know how life was going to let me do what I dreamed of doing. But I did it. Somehow between buying my first home, attending three high school graduations, starting and ending a ten year relationship, and running my little tax practice I managed to e-publish a romance-y book, and a book of short stories. I also started another book (fantasy). And it only took me ten years to do it!!! I did not totally release the internet. I dabbled here and there. What I was hoping to find on other sites just wasn't to be found. I wanted to be with other writers, giving and getting feedback. I also missed writing for my blog on this site. Not that a lot of people read it, I missed it because this is my secret place. The place my close friends don't know exists. They have access to my other accounts, but I don't want them to be aware of my frustrations, or about my writers block, or whether or not my panties are all twisted up in some kind of knot. I want you, this community to be my secret confidant. Dj |
